I recommend the golden prime beef noodle soup (金汤肥牛面) with flat noodles (noodles and broth were my favourite part of the dish). We also had the lamb skewers - the quality of meat was good, but it had a bit too much spice on them. Lastly, the service was great!

Me and my pal tried this place, the juicy dumpling are tasty and are like a reverse wonton soup, there's soup in the dumpling so be careful not to burn yourself. The pan fried pork, chive, shrimp dumplings are delicious and the stars. We had the BBQ pork ribs and they're flavorful and delicious.

Went there for the first time yesterday. Excellent service. Warm and cozy atmosphere like eating at home. Food was awesome! A lot of varieties on their menu. We ordered Dan Dan Noodles, Spicy Hand Pulled Noodle Soup With Beef, and Pork Xiao Long Bao. Everything was perfect and we loved all three dishes. Their noodles were made fresh order by order. They were bouncy and got the al dente texture. We were seated right away when we got there. It took about 15 mins before our food came out. We enjoyed watching them hand-pull and hand-cut the noodles fresh in the kitchen. Comparing Northern Cafe to Din Tai Fung, I enjoyed the food at Northern Cafe a lot more. The items on their menus are pretty similar. There was no crazy long wait line here. I will definitely come back here again!

Wow!!! It is absolutely delicious!!! The juicy pork dumplings and cucumber salad were on spot. We tried a variation of noodles I had never heard of and they savory delicious; their spicy warning is no exaggeration, hahahaha!!! Can't wait to go back and try their other dishes.

We are happy to finally got a good Chinese noodle restaurant in the South Bay. Hand pull, knife cut wide noodles with good variety of flavors. We had House special Beef Noodle soup (medium flat), and House style chow mien (knife cut) both were excellent. If you like lamb, definitely try the Lamb skewers with exotic flavors. (3 in an order, we got 2 orders) The XLB and Beef roll are both good but not extraordinary compared to the noodles. We ordered 3 appetizers, pig ears was the best. —- Updated 9/2022 We still love this place, it’s a little far for us, but I don’t mind coming every week. Everyone loved every dish. We ordered a lot for the 3 of us, and got plenty of leftovers to enjoy again tomorrow!

Not your usual Chinese food. If you ever wonder what’s food really like in China, I imagine is something like this place. Their juicy pork dumplings are spectacular and the Beef Wrap is quite the delicacy. They are also known for their hand tossed noodles and spicy chicken both of which are the right amount of spice and flavor.

Freshly handmade pulled noodles with the wonderful texture and taste that follows. Good soup broth, and good portion sizes and prices. The XLB were pretty good too, but I would avoid them if you're allergic to peanuts - I have a small suspicion they contain peanut oil (or maybe butter to seal the top? They do look a little different). Noodle soup is definitely the way to go here.
